Don Mancini has spent many years writing and creating the Child's Play series (not including the misaligned 2019 reboot) so if there is one person who knows the evil red-headed doll the best, it's Mancini (besides Chucky voice Brad Dourif of course).

Off the back of the last "real" Child's Play movie in 2017, it was announced that the series would continue, but was confused with the reboot. Now it seems that Mancini will be as good as his word in continuing the saga with a brand new Chucky TV series that is expected to be on SyFy by the end of 2020!

Starring the original Chucky Brad Dourif, the new TV show has been said t...

I've recently joined my friend in watching the horror section of the 1001 films you need to watch before you die, and we started the session off with the 1968 film Rosemary's Baby.

Starring then-Hollywood darling Mia Farrow and created by heavyweight Roman Polanski, this 1968 film was based on a novel of the same name that came out in 1967 by Ira Levin. At the time of creation, the golden age of cinema as undergoing a period of modernisation and the film capitalised on the social upheaval that was taking part in the United States at the time.

As a horror writer and avid fan, the twist at the end was easy to see coming, bu...

Before he started school at the age of seven, he was struck by a mysterious illness that later allowed him to pen his thoughts that proved fruitful to his writing in later years, but once recovered he later went on to study and receive a Bachelor of Arts in 1870, and received an MA in 1875. He was the president of the University Philosophical Society during his school days, and B...

Usually the idea of a reboot of movies that have only been made in the last decade stirs up a maddening emotion in me. We don't need more Charmed TV shows or Spiderman reboots, we need authentic, new, and unique stories - like Cosmic Decay: Contamination (wink wink, nudge nudge).

But the idea of another Child's Play movie has me rethinking the whole deal.

I love Chucky, the evil red-headed Good Guy doll that is really is the murderous soul of the crazed killer Charles Lee Ray. Chucky goes on multiple killing sprees throughout seven different movies, looking for revenge on those who have thwarted him in the past. Around mo...

Getting my second novel Cosmic Decay: Debris off the ground was no easy feat! Not only was writing the sequel to Cosmic Decay: Contamination met with a nine month writer's block and problems with publishers, getting it formatted for self-publishing proved to be a difficult task.

But we got there! With the help of my brilliant graphic designer and ex-husband Byron Carr, and the expertise of fellow self-published author Brendan Wright, was I able to get Cosmic Decay: Debris published within a month and officially on sale through websites like Booktopia, the Book Depository, and Amazon! To celebrate I had a book launch at a...
